WEEK 31ST TO 4TH FEB

Markets have showed huge weakness from the settlement week after hitting the 5800 mark..Markets after closing below the 200 DMA will have to find its supports somewhere as we drift slowly into oversold zone again in daily weekly..5550 is the S/R for this week with a wide wildish range of 5400 to 5700..World events etc too are driving this down trend ..A technical bounce back will be due this week.. FNO traders should wait for a positive day before dipping in..you can pick choose small qty. your select stocks in this carnage and see from there..
STOCKS : Anything of index will be a good buy.

WEEK 24TH TO 28TH JAN

Markets moved in a tight band bothways last week with voilent thrusts..Technical traders would have captured these intraday moves and made good profits.
This week too the techs seems to suggest the same band..5550-5850 , 5700 is the WATCH ZONE a range of 150 points either way..Being a truncated settlement week be a bit careful in OPTION trading..The bias could be on the long side only if we trade over 5700..as low was protected last week..Trade accordingly..

STOCKS: Reality/Capital goods seems a tad oversold ..Watch them in this week.(PSU BANKS moved well last week)

WEEK AHEAD 17 TO 21ST

Markets have been quite shaky from the start of this year. The run up from March '09 has been quite spectacular and many participants just could not praticipate due to fear etc..Markets are doing their regular correction and will have to find a base in coming days weeks..For this year 5200 will be a area to watch, below which the markets could give a slide down..Cross of 6350 could take the markets to 6700 plus zone.I will not be commenting here on any news or noise about the markets but write about pure technicals of the markets..
Coming to next weeks technicals..any semblence of a upmove markets have to sustain over 5700 and it will face resistance in 5850 zone..slide below 5600 could take it to 5500-5530 zone..TRADE ACCORDING

TAKING A BREAK

SHORT COVERING

The settlement day went in favour of the bulls , markets surged beyond 4930 towards the previous highs..Global cues are positive and we pass over the last high towards 5050-80 zone where some supply can come..do BOOK LONGS today which were bought in the PANIC DIP OF TUESDAY..4930-60 would provide support in coming days to the bulls and only below it will weakness be there ..trade accordingly..enjoy the day & weekend ..cheers

SETTLEMENT DAY

Markets after gapping up yesterday slowly crept to the 4880 zone & finally moved to the 4930 zone , where profit booking came in..Being a settlemnt day the markets would be uncertain..Markets would be weak below 4850 and strong above 4930..trade accordingly..cheers.

MAYHEM CONTINUES

Markets tested the recent lows of 4850 broke and started the journey down to new lows..When FIIs sell , who knows where markets will stop..Please note till now markets have been making lower highs/lows..The day a higher low/high is made is the day of markets turn..Hope all added some good scrips in portfolio in yesterdays panic dips..Markets are oversold & will take some breather..keep booking your longs when you find markets stalling..4880 to 4930.. could be some zones..enjoy the day cheers..

VOLATILE MARKETS

Markets just about crossed the 4990 threshold to trigger SL of shorts and then fell flat on all the gains..Todays global cues will make it retest the bottoms or maybe lower ..Markets may consolidate in this 4850- 4950 zone till expiry in case it sustanins 4850..trade accordingly as volatality could be high in the coming days ..cheers

WEEK AHEAD

It was a very volatile last week with wild swings & deep losses....The S/R for this week is 4960 with a range at least of 4800-5100..Markets sentiments are positive and RIL/ADAG truce could also booster the markets for a good positive opening.4990 is watch zone , close for a few days above it can take us all the way to retest 5080..enjoy the day & the week cheers.

MAYHEM DAY

Markets globally are in the final frenzy which should take some support at 4800-4830 zone failing which the cut could be deeper..Delivery selling by FII's is never a good sign and DII's seem to be keeping their hands off the BUY. Markets are reaching their quaterly supports..Wait for this frenzy to stop or partially dip into your favourite stocks in such panics(have always advised to wait for such dips, rather than buy into a runaway market)Markets have to cross back over 4901 quickly for any semblance to return..enjoy the day & the weekend...cheers

BREAK DOWN

Markets seem to be in a frenzy after breaching 5000 on the lower side..We could have touched 4850-60 zone (Budget Day start ) very easily..but it just halted at 4900 ..Markets will bounce back from this zone to maybe the 200 DMA or 4980 zone..before deciding what to do..Any picks at yesterdays lows should be booked as we rise..This pain is not over till we dont close consistantly over 200 DMA..Trade acordingly..enjoy the day cheers.

SELL AGAIN AT OPEN

Global cues are not condusive fo any rise , thus prompting sell all rises..Gap downs /ups are becoming the norm as volatality increases..Today again markets will open low and may test the recent lows again..The range is abt. 5000-5100..breach of which can take markets +/- 100 points ..pick few select stocks as things stabalise in & around this range..cheers

UNSURE CUES

Markets went to retest the recent lows & bounced back from there to almost recover the gapdown..5000 still holds the key in close breach of which can take us much lower..Watch 5030 for weakness today& 5090 as resistance zone cross of which can take us to 5160 zone..Be nimble footed and trade light till some sense comes on direction..enjoy the day cheers.
